Ascension

"Behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this book." (Revelation 22:7)

 
At His ascension, Jesus promised His disciples that He would soon return to them. In the Book of Revelation, we again read that the coming of Jesus is near. When we look at the current state of society — economic uncertainty and wars that seem never-ending — many people begin to think that the days of the end times are approaching. However, we cannot know the exact date. Yet we can hold in our hearts the promise of the prophet: “Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this book.” Do you seek the guidance of Holy Scripture day by day? Do you desire to live according to its teaching? Any day could be our last. Let us await our meeting with the Lord in faith and without fear! Amen.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus! I am happy that the promise You made to the disciples is also meant for me. Be with me every day of my life! Through the teaching of the Bible, guide my life! Amen.
